International Charter Expo – The Largest B2B Yachting Event
After two long years, the International Charter Expo (ICE) finally returned this year from the 7th – the 9th of December, and it was bigger and better than ever. For those in the yachting industry, fairs such as ICE are significant. Croatia is known as a country with the largest charter fleet in the Mediterranean, and it’s now renowned for hosting this year’s exciting event in Zagreb for more than 1,500 people from 500 companies worldwide. Let’s look at some of the highlights of this exciting event.
● What Is ICE?
The International Charter Expo is an event that brings together yacht charter professionals from all corners of the world. This year’s edition offered an incredible opportunity for attendees to connect, exchange experiences and form business opportunities that are invaluable to those involved in any aspect of yachting.
Everyone comes together, from brokers, charter agents, travel agencies, yacht owners, and fleet managers to captains, crew members, and luxury service providers at this unique B2B expo.
This year, the fair hosted an unprecedented sector – Crewed & Luxury. It was a unique opportunity for companies specializing in vessels like gulets, mini cruisers, and mega yachts to showcase their services in a completely new way. Master Charter was proud to be among them. The event provided these businesses with an excellent opportunity to make themselves stand out!
● What Makes ICE Special?
ICE sets itself apart by creating meaningful connections between participants and companies. The event provides plenty of opportunities to network with industry professionals through various conferences, seminars, one-on-one meetings between exhibitors and buyers, and even social events like parties or dinners. In addition, each attendee has a chance to learn new things through educational sessions on boat management, marketing strategies, legal issues related to yachting in different countries worldwide, technological advancements in boat-building designs, and much more. These three-day discussions and activities allowed attendees to meet new people and build relationships with existing partners.
● The Benefits of Attending ICE
The benefits of attending an event like ICE are numerous; not only did it allow participants to network with peers and potential business partners, but it also gave them a chance to learn more about their yachting industry through conventions and meetings. In addition, exhibitors were able to showcase their products/services globally. Finally, attendees had plenty of chances to socialize with old and new friends during evening receptions.
At Master Charter, we understand how important events like these are for the yacht industry, which is why we always ensure that we participate whenever possible. Attending events like these will help us keep up with the latest trends in yachting and provide us with invaluable insights into the yacht market.
