Meet the team

We are all sad to say goodbye, but we know her love for the sea and people will live on in each of us. Kristina was a person who enjoyed what she did, and she was an inspiration.
Although she graduated from the Faculty of Kinesiology, she has been connected to the sea and yachts since the beginning of her career. While still a student, she worked as a seller of travel arrangements and gained valuable first-hand experience in direct sales in tourism.

As soon as she graduated, she started working formally in the charter industry. It all began with the desire to provide access to those looking for different ways of traveling across the sea, but more importantly, giving guests something new every time.

In 2006 she founded MASTER CHARTER d.o.o., where she was the only employee. Years of dedicated, honest work and her motto, “Everything is possible for one who believes”, resulted in the team that MASTER CHARTER d.o.o., today is one of the most successful yacht charter companies in Croatia, with eleven employees and a fleet of 14 vacation yachts. Together with her husband, Kristina built an excellent team of professionals who today create new values in MASTER CHARTER d.o.o. and are recognized as reliable and valuable partners in the business community.

KRISTINA is no longer physically with us, but her unique spirit and inimitable personality will continue to be an integral part of the business of MASTER CHARTER in the coming years.

Although he has a law degree and legal practice, jointly with his wife Kristina, Stipe is the leading operative of our team, with particular responsibilities related to contracts, finance, human resources, and crisis management.

After graduating from law school, he worked in renowned financial companies and a large law firm in Zagreb, where he dealt with commercial, labor, bankruptcy law, insurance law, and the collection of outstanding debts.

His knowledge and many years of experience have greatly helped Master Charter to position itself in the demanding charter market and to embark on subsequent business ventures.

Along with Kristina and Stipa, Mirna has the longest tenure on our team. Considering that she comes from a family of sailors, she has considerable experience living and working there and from the sea. Before entering the charter business world, she worked as a hostess on several gulets in Croatia during her studies.

Although she is a professor of history by profession, she somehow ended up in nautical tourism again.

Working in Master Charter inspires her as she wants to show her clients Croatian hospitality and all the beauties of our breathtaking coastline. She feels like sailing is the best way to do it.

We recognized Mirna’s education, experience and love for the sea a long time ago, and as such she was a logical choice to the position of Deputy CEO.

Born and raised in Split, this active mom of two boys is always on the go trying to find more exciting and adventurous ideas for Master Charter clients.

Growing up in a multi-cultural environment, fluent in 4 foreign languages with experience in human resources, administration, and primarily hospitality, she will never give up on matching you with your perfect boat and crew.

With a solid wish to represent Dalmatia with its natural beauty, remarkable history, and spectacular gastronomy, Ivana is “at home” in the gulet sailing business. To enjoy life, she needs these elements: sea, food, good company, and good music. Ivana is also the most significant enthusiast on our team, and everyone loves her spirit.

Maja is perfect member of our team. From the first day, she fitted perfectly due to her cheerful nature and quick adaptability to any situation.

After graduating in maritime management from the Faculty of Maritime Studies, she did not work in her profession for a few years, so she thoroughly enjoys returning to what she truly loves-the sea.

Kind and always smiling, she will answer all your questions patiently and try her best to find the perfect option for your well-deserved holiday. Being a mom of two toddlers, she is familiar with multitasking, so you do not have to worry, as she will successfully organize all aspects of your vacation.

Maja deeply loves nature and the sea, so she spends most of her free time outside with her family.

Master Charter Team is richer for another employee. Anđela became part of our team.

While studying abroad, Anđela became a teacher of French and Russian. In addition to all that, she published several scientific papers in the field of linguistics. But she turned her teaching skills to her love of ships and travel.
Today, she has many years of experience working in luxury tourism. She gained knowledge and experience in 5-star hotels and on luxury yachts as a hostess, where she spent the last ten years.

She is also a certified tourist guide in Croatian, English, Russian, and French.
When she’s not at work, most of her free time, Anđela likes to spend time with friends and family.

Irena has been in tourism for more than twenty-five years, and her experience did not go unnoticed.

Irena comes to us from Split, and since 1996 she has been professionally associated exclusively with tourism and is a specialist in the sale of tourist arrangements and marketing. Since years of rich experience in tourist sales, a large part of which is occupied by business related to renting yachts.

She speaks fluent Italian and English; her hobbies are traveling, reading, and studying foreign languages. Irena is a wife and mother of two children.

Ksenija is the special member of the Master Charter team. She is a mother of three children and has worked as a financial advisor for over 15 years.

Ksenija was born and raised in Zagreb, where she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in 2000, majoring in finance and marketing, after which she moved to Dalmatia. She likes the variety and new challenges that an ordinary working day brings.

She also enjoys working together with other team members. When she’s not at work and crunching numbers, you can find this dedicated financial professional spending time outside – hiking up the mountains; going on boat trips; exploring historical sites, or, her favorite – spending time with family and friends.

Ivana takes care of all internet content on social networks and will also be found in roles such as copywriter and travel writer. Her experience on small cruise ships in Croatia was invaluable to her current work at Master Charter.

The developed passion, love for the sea and admiration for the landscape motivated her to show everyone Croatian hospitality and encourage them to cruise in Croatia. She gained a lot of knowledge, skills, and abilities that helped make the transition from sea travel to land – based management.

Ivana’s favorite things to do during her free time are travel, hiking, and taking photos of the world around her.

Johnnie is one of the oldest members of our team, not only by age but also by years spent in the company. He prefers not to be seen as an employee but as a part of the family.

Born in Germany and raised in Croatia, he is fluent in 3 languages. He graduated in General Conditioning at the University of Sports in Zagreb and worked in his profession for over 25 years. In the meantime, he decided to continue his education in IT, marketing and search engine optimization.

In addition, 30 Years ago, he worked for several years on cruise ships in multicultural environments, traveling the world across the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean Sea. He is a proud husband and the father of a 21-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter. His family gives him a lot of support, which helps him get everything done.

Dedicating a lot of time to work, thanks to them, he still has time to go to the mountains and the sea, and he spends most of his free time hiking with his dog, kitesurfing, diving, and spearfishing.

Luka is in charge of our marketing strategies and brand awareness. He grew up in Zagreb but thanks to his grandparents, at his young age he was spending a lot of time on the Croatian coast and at sea. That’s when he developed love towards the sea and Dalmatia where he now lives with his wife.

After finishing International Film School in Prague in 2000 with short, 35mm film “The Citizens” featured on Days of Czech Cinema in Zagreb, Luka was working as a creative director, manager, graphic and web designer, magazine editor, book publisher, photographer, cameraman, video editor and director. In his career he was also managing both non-profit organizations and companies. Since 2017. he is managing a limited company which he started with his wife.

In his free time, he likes to play tennis and enjoy peaceful walks along the Adriatic coast with his wife.
