ROMANCA is a term that describes the relationship that corresponds to the ideal of so-called love between a guest, a ship, and the sea.
The Gulet Romanca, a traditional wooden boat, is a family boat that has been in the safe hands of its owners for more than a decade. While sailing the Croatian coast and islands, enjoy the relaxed, elegant ambiance of one of the most charismatic ships on the Adriatic.

With a special female touch, the owner Andrea is in charge of being one of the best-maintained gulets in Croatia today.
Gulet Romanca has eight cabins and is ideal for larger groups with a capacity of up to 18+1 guests. Each cabin has its window for viewing the sea landscape, a dressing room, a private bathroom with a toilet, shower, and personal toiletries such as shampoo and soap, bath towels, and a beach towel.
Take advantage of numerous opportunities for relaxation, socializing, and entertainment indoors and outdoors.
Stroll to the back of the boat and the outdoor dining area, protected from the heat, where plenty of brilliant meals await you with a creative private chef on board preparing gourmet Mediterranean dishes.
And there is an indoor lounge with two dining tables, a bar, a TV, and a DVD player, and players will be especially delighted with the Play Station.
Its large upper sun deck has comfortable loungers and a large sofa with pillows when you want to sunbathe. Make your time at sea as exciting as possible and get to know the fun world of water toys such as jet skis, rowing boards, canoes, diving equipment, and fishing equipment.

Remarks:
- Terms of payment: 50% at booking confirmation, 50% forty fife days before charter commencement
- Port fees/anchorages: Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 500 – 1,000 Euros).
- Dubrovnik visit fee on Split – Split route 1.000 Eur
- One way fee (1000 EUR) for embarkation / disembarkation in any other port except base port, if
“empty leg” is caused - Extra navigation: 60 Eur/hour. This cost is already included in the Delivery Fee
- Food discount for children:
Children 0-2 years free of charge, Children 2-12 years 50% discount
- Important Note: All-inclusive beverage option includes some Croatian wines served by the crew, not all from the bar’s list. Not included: Imported wines, beers & spirits. Drinks and beverages completely supplied by clients – corkage fee: 700 Euros per week.

Our Crew
Marin Matulović
Captain
Marin’s seafaring journey began on May 8, 1983, when he was born into a coastal family in the picturesque city of Split, Croatia. From his earliest memories, Marin felt an irresistible pull toward the sea, captivated by its boundless beauty and untamed spirit.
After completing his high school education, Marin wasted no time pursuing his passion for the sea. Eager to gain hands-on experience in the maritime industry, he secured a position at a renowned company specializing in yacht construction. For six years, he immersed himself in vessel building, honing his skills and craftsmanship with dedication and precision.
However, his true calling lay beyond shipyards and dry land. In search of a life on the open seas, he embarked on a new chapter of his career as part of the crew of Romanca. For the past five years, Marin has been the captain, leading his crew with confidence and expertise.
Fluent in English, Marin ensures smooth communication with guests and crew alike. In his free time, Marin indulges his passions for his family, sport, and adventure. A skilled football player, he enjoys friendly matches with his crewmates whenever possible.
For Marin, working on Romance isn’t just a job; it’s a way of life. He pours his heart and soul into the ship, dedicating countless hours to its maintenance and improvement. From fine-tuning the rigging to ensuring every detail is shipshape, Marin’s unwavering commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect of his work.
Ivan Lončar
Deckhand
Ivan was born on 14 May 1993 in Split,
where he grew up and graduated from Maritime High School.
He worked in construction for a while, but after obtaining the necessary maritime licenses and certificates, he decidedly embarked on his career at sea. After working on supply ships for some time, he joined Romanca in 2017.
Ivan brings a disciplined approach to every task. Whether on watch or navigation or transporting guests on a tender, clients can feel confident and secure knowing they are in capable hands.
Its goal is to provide a pleasant and friendly time on the Gulet Romanca. He is also always willing to help and assist his colleagues.
He speaks English fluently and spends most of his free time in sports activities and hiking.
Marin Reljić
Deckhand
Marin was born on March 20, 2004, in Split, where he attended Maritime High School. He also completed additional maritime courses and obtained other certifications.
An interesting fact about him is that he likes to spend his free time hiking and is an expert on Dalmatian peaks.
By moving into the boating industry, he was allowed to develop and sharpen his skills in seafaring and taking care of the safety of the
ship and everyone on board.
This is his first year working at Romanca, and he is a valuable team member; with motivation , he is always there to help with a big smile.
Marin Mrković
Chef
Marin, the newest addition to Romanca’s crew, brings a passion for culinary excellence that promises to elevate every aspect of your cruise experience. Marin’s journey into gastronomy began at a young age, as he eagerly experimented with flavors and ingredients in his family kitchen. Marin’s culinary repertoire knows no bounds, from traditional Croatian dishes’ savory aromas to international cuisine’s delicate intricacies.
For Marin, cooking isn’t simply a skill; it’s a labor of love—an opportunity to delight the senses and nourish the soul. Whether crafting a hearty seafood stew inspired by the bounty of the Adriatic or presenting a delicate dessert infused with local flavors, Marin approaches each dish with care and creativity, ensuring that every bite is a culinary masterpiece. With a keen eye for detail and a discerning palate, he constantly pushes the boundaries of his culinary prowess, delighting in discovering unexpected flavor profiles and innovative techniques.
But Marin’s love for the sea goes far beyond the confines of the kitchen. As a devoted nature enthusiast, he finds solace and inspiration, spending every spare moment diving beneath the surface, searching for fresh fish and other treasures from the deep.
With Marin at the helm of Romanca’s culinary offerings, every meal becomes a celebration of the sea and the bounty it provides. Whether you’re savoring a sumptuous seafood feast prepared with ingredients caught just hours before or indulging in a delectable dessert crafted with care and precision, you can rest assured that your taste buds are in expert hands.
Mario Kosor
Bartender
Mario was born in 1982 in the German town of Borken and completed his education in Split.
After secondary vocational and technical school, he successfully graduated from the Polytechnic in Split, majoring in telecommunications. In the meantime, he additionally attended various courses and worked as an IT support (maintenance of computer equipment) to further improve his IT knowledge.
For some time, he worked in hotels and restaurants as a waiter, and as a result, he became very successful in working with people by offering excellent service.
He will do his best to make his guests feel comfortable during their vacation. He is excited to become a member of the Romanca team, and his colleagues describe him as kind, friendly, and a hard worker.
Of foreign languages, he is best at English in foreign languages, and he likes to spend his free time playing tennis and, in the kitchen, trying out various gastronomic recipes.

Itinerary
North Dalmatian route: Split – Zadar – Split
Sail along the breathtaking Northern Dalmatian coast, rich in history and culture. Listen to the Zadar Sea organ singing a unique melody while watching the stunning sunset, then explore the trails that lead to lush national parks to learn how this land was ruled by emperors centuries ago!
Central Dalmatia Route: Split-Split
The journey through Central Dalmatia is spectacular.
You swim in the bays of Pakleni islands which are the most beautiful part of the Hvar Riviera, and enjoy the magnificent view from the Fortica fortress. Explore the military bunkers of the island of Vis, float down the cold river Cetina exploring the power of winding rivers and their canyons.
South Dalmatia Route: Dubrovnik – Dubrovnik
The island hopping rich in lush green to ancient towns, is a cruise along the breathtaking South Dalmatian coast.
Feel the power of the Dubrovnik walls, and experience the meaning of the name of the Hvar bar, “Carpe Diem,” while drinking a cocktail and dancing to the sunset.
